Talk Description

Incorporating sustainability principles into infrastructure projects has become increasingly more critical. This session will provide an overview of typical sustainability requirements, and briefly outline the key aspects of the Envision evaluation and certification process.  Using the case study of the Alexandra Bridge Replacement Project in Ottawa, we will then focus on practical examples of how the Envision framework can support documentation of sustainability practices.
