Candice is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) with over 20 years of experience in mineral exploration. She began her exploration career as a geoscientist, and transitioned into a Health, Safety, Environment and Security (HSES) role as a HSES coordinator with Rio Tinto Exploration, and then a Senior Advisor HSES. Candice has mainly worked in Canada and the USA, and has also travelled internationally to Rio Tinto exploration projects and mine sites, to audit and support HSES systems. Through this, she has had the privilege of observing and sharing best practices across Rio Tinto Businesses. Candice is passionate about Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity, and is a co-chair of Rio Tinto Exploration (North America Region) EID committee.
