Mr. Gautrey is a senior technical director in mine hydrogeology at WSP, with 30 years of experience as a hydrogeologist specializing in complex groundwater projects related to mining and groundwater resource assessments. He holds an MSc in Hydrogeology from the University of Waterloo and is recognized as a Fellow of Geoscientists Canada. His areas of expertise include groundwater studies in support of environmental assessments and peer reviews.

Mr. Gautrey also volunteers his time with the Ontario Water Works Association (OWWA), serving on its groundwater and source water committees, chairs the PGO Environmental Subcommittee, and has previously represented OWWA or PGO on several MECP stakeholder engagement groups.
