ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Michelle Benford, Supervisor, Professional Access into Employment (PAIE) Program

Michelle is the Supervisor of the Professional Access into Employment (PAIE) Program - an Ontario Bridge Training Program for newcomer environmental professionals led by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA). She is a trained Terrain and Water Resources Technician and Certified Coach Practitioner who is passionate about motivating and building capacity in others to help them overcome barriers and achieve their personal and professional goals. She has extensive experience developing and delivering employment preparation and training programs including mentoring and coaching services for diverse groups of adults and has been working with internationally educated professionals with backgrounds in Geoscience and Engineering to help them launch their careers in Ontario for the last 15 years.
