ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Hannah Chessell , Project Hydrogeologist, Geosyntec Consultants 

Hannah Chessell is a Project Hydrogeologist at Geosyntec Consultants located in Waterloo. Hannah has over 8 years of environmental consulting experience providing hydrogeologic support to optimize environmental remediation strategies. Hannah’s day to day practice is focused on environmental site assessments, soil management planning, and remediation projects under O. Reg 153/04 and O. Reg 406/19. Hannah has implemented soil management best practices for excess soils and developed soil and sediment reuse specifications and guidance documents for municipalities and infrastructure projects. Hannah recently joined the PGO Geoscience Subcommittee and is looking forward to expanding her professional practice outside of consulting. Hannah is a QPESA, and a Professional Geoscientist with the PGO.
